Presidents Welcome Letter
Dear Northeast Franchisee Members:
As your newly elected President of the Northeast Association of KFC Franchisees. I wanted to write you all a short letter to introduce myself and provide some insight to the direction that your executive committee is working towards over the next year. You have all placed a lot of trust in us and we want to be certain to represent you in the best way possible. When I agreed to serve as your President two years ago, I didn’t realize the tumultuous times that we would be facing during my Presidency. You have my word that I will do all that I can to represent you and do whatever I can to lead us out of these difficult times.
Over the past few weeks, I have received many emails and phone calls from concerned franchisees in our region about the state of our business. I have been assured that a plan is in place to restore our great brand back to the prominence it once held. In the meantime, your excutive team is doing all it can to support you.
In early August, the Northeast Planning Committee met in Ft. Lauderdale, FL to begin plans for our Fall Franchisee Meeting in November. We are working diligently to bring you a Fall Meeting that will be much different then what you have experienced in the past. Several new and exciting ideas are in the works that we think you will really like. Our preliminary agenda will be posted on the website soon. Be sure to mark your calendars to attend this meeting, the dates are November 2 through November 5. We are requesting that all of our franchisees attend and support this meeting.
In closing, I am aware of how difficult it is for many of us right now. In the past, the Northeast has always led the way and I am confident that if we band together as a region, we can overcome these troubling times. It is my belief that we need to unify once again and do whatever is necessary to get profitable sales back into our restaurants. The motto that I have selected for this year is “Leading the Way….by inspiring our people to turn today’s challenges into tomorrow’s success”. I couldn’t think of a more fitting motto for the times we are experiencing right now!
If I can assist you in any way, please feel free to email me at Rob@avkenco.com. I am honored to serve you and welcome any feedback that you have to improve our Northeast Region and our Restaurants.
Sincerely,
Rob Rianna
