In my role as your KFCNEFA President for 2008-2009, I'd like to continue, "Leading the Way."  How, by making sure this organization is Transparent and by improving two way Communication.  Those who know me, often credit my understanding of technology.  This is how I believe we can improve our communication to you, our members.  Technology will be used to simplify not stupefy.  I will avoid sending onerous e-mails, scheduling lengthy meetings and conference calls.  We don't sell Chicken in our meetings; we sell it to our GUESTS.  Let's not leave them unattended.

The reason I'd like to focus on Transparency is simple.  The Executive Board is often perceived by members as a rarified group who makes decision based on our own agenda.  I have challenged myself to use Communication to eliminate that perception.  Our goal is to represent you (in confidence, if desired). Please, I need your help.  Pick up the telephone or the keyboard and let me know what is on your mind!

In closing, I am both honored and excited to be in this role.  This organization has a glorious history and legacy of outstanding Leaders, on which we can build.  Together, we will continue, "Leading the Way."
